Yes, it’s that time of year again. I can’t believe how quickly this year has passed. I guess that old saying, “time flies when you’re having fun”, is true. I don’t know about the having fun part, but I do know that “time flies when you’re keeping busy”. Although I haven’t done as many concerts as I used to do, I’ve been keeping busy with other things. With a house and husband to take care of, plus my two cats, who demand lots of attention, and several piano students who come every week, the days just seem to fly by. Plus, my mother-in-law’s recent hip surgery and her time spent in rehabilation have kept us busy making trips to see to her needs. Larry and I praise God for all the wonderful things He does for us and gives us. We know that without Jesus in our lives we would not be able to keep up with everything. He is our strength as well as our salvation.

I know that in todays world it’s become the “norm” to blame all our problems on something or someone else.  Especially when you watch the news on TV.   It’s all about the problems of this life…crime, health care, money, taxes, world peace, the list goes on and on.  Have you ever wondered what this world would be like if Jesus had never been born. We would still be in our sins with no hope for the future. So instead of playing the blame game, why not just  count your blessings.  Try it!   When you begin to count your blessings and see how many wonderful things you have in your life, the other “stuff” begins to pale in comparison.  We all need to just “keep on, keeping on” until Jesus returns and takes us to be with Him.

I'm now booking for 2008.  If you would like me to come share with you at your church, please have your minister call or e-mail me as soon as possible.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
